40 days and 40 nights, and a new rural life

40 days sans alcohol!!!!! I'm so proud. I have found a gorgeous big thatched cottage in the village I grew up in, it's all I've ever wanted. I'm viewing it on Wednesday and hopefully noone else will show interest in the meantime, ( I was considering learning how to hack into their website and changing the TO LET to TAKEN, so noone looks at it), and I can move in once my notice is served here, which I think will be 14 days. I hope so much it'll be mine. It's the last cottage at the end of the village, surrounded by moors, ladies collecting eggs in baskets I bet, riding stables, and close to the beach, and has a veggie patch, and little fire places and nooks and crannies. Oh I'm so excited! Please please let it be mine, I'd even sell all my shoes (120) if it meant it could be mine. oh and let me find 2k in 2 weeks, that's another 'small' problem!!
I've started filling in the numerous holes in the walls here, which were caused by my indecisiveness; always moving pictures and shelving around. I've minimised junk, I'm all ready to leave horrible suburbia for a more self sufficient rural life, and there's still plenty of shops in the local town. I can wear big chunky knit cardies and flowery wellies, and buy a spade, and collect wild flowers on the moors, and meet Hugh Fernley Whittingstall, maybe he will fall in love with the new rural me and I can be married to a famous farmer, I'd definately wear wellies then, and wear an apron most of the time, and alcohol wouldn't fit in in a place like that, I'll be drinking homemade elderberry crush no doubt, and reading books on keeping goats. PERFECT.
